YEAH LALA! Yeah LALA! LALA went to the Castle!

We finally did it! Got LaLa potty trained and to the castle (golfland) for her reward!
She was so kind to invite her sister RaRa along to share in their reward.
Mike took them and this the the event in his words:
"Today I took LaLa to the castle (golf-land an arcade play place) for getting potty trained. So we get there and all went to the potty (RaRa had to join us while mom went to the Dentist), except LaLa who got stage fright. When we went to the kids slides and ball arena we found it was closed but the goofy golfing was opening. Things were going well then LaLa looked at me and said, " I got to go pee pee." Right there on hole # 2. Luckily I had packed no change of underwear. We improvised, I'll just say that. We then resumed golf and had a fun time while things dried. They were actually able to stay focused through all eighteen holes I was impressed. At which point afterward LaLa acted like she had to go to the bathroom. "HOLD IT!" I said. She did, literally. Fortunately, she then went to potty and redeemed herself."
Here are some more photos, Enjoy!

PS, they dressed themselves.

Family Movie Nite!

We went to a seminar with Nicholeen Peck a few weeks ago and she talked about having Family Movie Night every week to help strengthen your family by doing something fun. When Mike got home from work on Saturday we decided to have Family Movie Night that night.
I think we went a little over board by getting three movies because we stayed up till 12:30 - which we haven't done in a year. But we had a good time.
These are the movies we saw and I'd recommend them to any one!

We absolutely loved Bedtime Stories: I hesitated to see this movie when it came out because I've been disappointed with other Adam Sandler movies. I think he is hilarious as long as he is clean and he did an excellent job in this one. And he always uses 80's songs which totally rock! I guess I "underdemeciated" him.

Racing Stripes: you gotta love those beat the odds, all heart movies. Especially when they end with an awesome song! And the kids loved watching all the animals.

Pride and Prejudice: Classic, beautiful love story. And amazing filming! Mike commented more then once at the great camera angles.
Jane Austen does such a great job and capturing the complexities of humanity.
