We went to a seminar with Nicholeen Peck a few weeks ago and she talked about having Family Movie Night every week to help strengthen your family by doing something fun. When Mike got home from work on Saturday we decided to have Family Movie Night that night.
I think we went a little over board by getting three movies because we stayed up till 12:30 - which we haven't done in a year. But we had a good time.
These are the movies we saw and I'd recommend them to any one!
We absolutely loved Bedtime Stories: I hesitated to see this movie when it came out because I've been disappointed with other Adam Sandler movies. I think he is hilarious as long as he is clean and he did an excellent job in this one. And he always uses 80's songs which totally rock! I guess I "underdemeciated" him.
Racing Stripes: you gotta love those beat the odds, all heart movies. Especially when they end with an awesome song! And the kids loved watching all the animals.
Pride and Prejudice: Classic, beautiful love story. And amazing filming! Mike commented more then once at the great camera angles.
Jane Austen does such a great job and capturing the complexities of humanity.
